Stefan Sagmeister is owner of Sagmeister & Walsh, a NYC based design ﬁrm that creates identities, commercials, websites, apps, ﬁlms, books and objects for clients, and audiences.
He lives in the city of his dreams, and creates work for the likes of Jay-Z. He has designed graphics for clients as diverse as the Rolling Stones and the Guggenheim Museum. He is a long-standing artistic collaborator with musicians David Byrne and Lou Reed.
Grammy Award winner in 2005 and 2010, Sagmeister also won the National Design Award for Communications from the Cooper-Hewitt National Design Museum. In 2013, he was awarded the Golden Medal of Honor of the Republic of Austria.
He co-directed a documentary "The Happy Film" which premiered this spring at Tribeca Film Festival.
